View from the Pinnacles Trail, Kamloops 12" X 16 " Original Pastel Painting by Raelene Shea - Only a 15 minute drive from Kamloops, this trail gives unending subjects for quick sketches.

This pastel was roughed in while hiking and finished in my studio. I often take a sketch book and some coloured pens or pastel pencils with me when I am out hiking. The most amazing scenes just seem to present themselves.  These jutting sandstone rocks were just catching the sun as  I walked by and I couldn't help not the ocntrast with the lovely husky blue of the sage grown close to them. I can smell them now. SOLD
