MORNING WALK TO TEMPLE

Morning Walk to Temple 60" X 48" Original Oil Painting on canvas  by Raelene Shea -The original subject of many paintings I have done from Sri Lanka where monks walking in groups with these colorful umbrellas is a regular reminder of the value of living in the way of Buddhist teachings. There is always a sense of peace in the presence of these monks on their way to the temple. I have completed many paintings of monks - always similar as the robes are the same, but different in the movements.

This is one that I have repainted many times as commissions. Each one is different from the others and they have found homes in many countries. Original reproduction COMMISSION available upon request - price dependent on size.
